This project examines the complicated relationship between humans and other animals. Sometimes this relationship is compassionate, other times cruel, and sometimes a casual disregard. Animals orbit our constructed human world as companions, food, entertainment, threats, images, and as icons for something we seem to have lost.
This project explores public self-perception through a combination of still photography and video, exhibitionism and deceptive voyeurism. I am interested in examining the disconnect between how people attempt to project themselves onto the world around them, how they perceive themselves, and how they are perceived by
